History

  • 1991: Founded in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. The name XADO is an abbreviation of the Russian Kharkovskiy Dom (“Kharkiv House”).
  • 1998: The company’s board patents the development of its Revitalizant® products: a method that uses metal atoms to restore and protect components and machinery against harmful corrosion and friction.
  • December 1999: The first consumer-packaged product is launched.
  • 2004: XADO Lube B.V. is established in the Netherlands as a joint venture between the European lubricant maker Eurol and the XADO Group, producing the XADO Atomic Oil range.

XADO also maintains a base in Germany, and today most XADO products are manufactured at XADO Germany and XADO Lube B.V. in the Netherlands. The group’s restorative products carry TÜV performance certification, ISO 17025, and the American API certification.

Achievements

The XADO Group has produced more than 1,000 products, used primarily in automotive maintenance, with a network spanning over 60 countries worldwide (as of 2011). Its best-known products include the Revitalizant® gel, atomic oils and VeryLube car-care products.

Industry specialists regard XADO as a pioneer in both the export and domestic markets for anti-friction and anti-corrosion products, and the group holds a very large share across the former Soviet republics — 24% of the overall market, rising to as much as 90% in the nano-ceramic segment alone.

Involvement

  • Owns XADO Motorsport, current champion of the Ukrainian Rally and the Circular Racing Cups.
  • Partner of Russia’s KAMAZ motorsport team.
  • Sponsored the well-known Russian boxer Nikolai Valuev, WBA heavyweight champion from 2005 to 2009.
  • In September 2011, became a sponsor of one of Ukraine’s most famous football clubs, Shakhtar Donetsk. (reference)
